ABSTRACT
A civil construction has sought the most efficient building systems and Light Steel Frame (LSF)
system. The LSF is a constructive system of rational industrial and industrial, which uses light
profiles of cold-formed galvanized steel with closures in thin sheets. However, the LSF system still
presents market barriers in Brazil, since the use of this system requires an industry that provides
necessary material and skilled labor. In this sense, the objective is to evaluate the feasibility of using
the Light Steel Frame system in the construction of the city of Manaus, Amazonas. For this, a
methodology of bibliographic review was used without research of this research. In considering the
characteristics of the city of Manaus, evidently the same as that which is important to implement the
LSF system in the construction industry, once Manaus is a city with industrial functionality capable
of implementing a new industrial system such as the LSF, being necessary to qualify the and install
factories that produce LSF system components.
