The aim of this study is a comparative study of the implementation of a cell line with layout type “Y”; originally introduced “U”; in a series of line company that produces automotive sound, in the Industrial Pole of Manaus. By some indicators, we obtained a validation of the benefits generated by the manufacturing system cell, eliminating losses, improving productivity and motivating internal employees.
